Even if you sell the land the developer will want to go thru most of the process before he settles on  it , unless you come to other terms . 18 acres down the road from me took 10 years to complete the paperwork from zoning , engineering and county approval for town houses, it was just approved and now an appeal was filed , that sets them back 6 months .

I ended up filing a case with my Landlord's insurance who will be processing the case; am I required to provide my tenant with any of this information?

This being the case, most of the time the person with the property damage will file their own claim with their own property carrier, and their carrier will take care of the damages (the fence).

I hope your contract is solid and you might have to file a lien against the home so that he cant back out on you which will make it so he cant sell it out from under you.
