I don’t know your area of Florida, but here in Tampa a 4/2 is worth it’s weight in goal.

The answers to your questions depend on your goals.

First world problems.I don't think the 2% rule is a typically achievable goal anymore.

I am considering buying a chunk of cheap property in my area and putting a mobile home on it to rent out, I want to start with 1 MH and my goal would be to find a large enough piece of property that I could eventually add maybe 2-3 more MH’s onto it over a period of time.

My goal at my current company is to never leave until retirement time(our retirement is different and much better than your normal one) I enjoy what I do, and plan to expand my knowledge to make a difference within.On the flip side, I don’t want to save money just to watch my bank account grow slowly...

Any time you see one jot down the number give the person a call, tell them your goals, and tell them you are willing to do ANYTHING to help their cause as long as you can work with them and gain that necessary experience to develop. best of luck!

The goals that I hope to achieve through real estate investing are: 1) to provide a cash flow stream for my mother as she gets older and requires assisted living or nursing home facilities, 2) provide a cash flow stream for my younger brother (who has Down's Syndrome) as he gets older and requires assisted living facilities and increased medical attention, and 3) provide a means of early retirement for me and my older brother.While listening to BP podcast #276 (my favorite) the other morning, I had that lightbulb moment of how to get started in real estate investing. 

My current goal is to do a deal before the end of this year and my bigger goal is to one day own 100 properties.
