They were next door to each other basically on the street to left of the projects with a project building next door to them.

During my due diligence, I contacted a property manager of a building down the street from the building I made an offer to get an idea of rental comps in the area.

Zoning isn't a problem, the street is already zoned for 4+ units.  

The vast majority of tenants harbour a hidden resentment of landlords for that reason.When buying cars or other high price ticket items I ware street cloths, never dress up, I hate walking on to a lot looking like I don't have a clue about what I am buying.

I just don't want my wife out on the street when we have paid the property taxes & fixed the place up.

If what is wrong is taxes or 6 crack houses on your street, you usually cant fix that.

not sure Baxter will ever catch up unless everything around it becomes like wealthy street.
