Here are their acquisition criteria from 2000: 1.Large purchases (at least $50 million of before-tax earnings), 2.Demonstrated consistent earning power (future projections are of no interest to us, nor are "turnaround" situations), 3.Businesses earning good returns on equity while employing little or no debt, 4.Management in place (we can't supply it), 5.Simple businesses (if there's lots of technology, we won't understand it), 6.An offering price (we don't want to waste our time or that of the seller by talking, even preliminarily, about a transaction when price is unknown).

I'm in now way an expert on this, or have extensive experience, but just want to share my opinion to your question.Wholesaling is, in my opinion, a great way to enter the field of real estate investing, to learn what other investors look for and to find good deals that will benefit all parties involved.The problem though lies in the fact that not every person who gets started with wholesaling continues to effectively and successfully wholesale.

I don't know really what there is to break, other than not cleaning the filters (which is a problem for both types of systems), or potentially losing the remote (which is what the security deposit is for).Unfortunately, the central hvac systems do supposedly last longer and are cheaper to fix, since there isn't much technology
