Verizon offered an unlimited prepaid plan this time last year for $45 a month and a swapped all to that plan and have one at&t backup I picked up 2 yrs ago on a special ($23 month) just in case we have an issue at any of the cabins.

Unfortunately, in our market, tenants rarely qualify for this "special".

That would be a more ideal way of entering the market being able to leverage your funds as an owner occupied and getting the mortgage supplemented by the tenants. 

And then the underwriter is going to go "um, manager, we got another Chris Mason special here..." and there would be a big meeting where they would make fun of me, reasonable chance they would even come across this very thread, I'll give it a coin toss on a final "yes" or "no."
