Hey @Bea Jax, To help you in your search: be sure to find an accountant that is willing to grow with you, and is not too high priced fee wise.

This is based on two different areas of attack; some states take the position that wholesaling is brokering without a real estate license; the other area of attack is the position that most wholesaling methods result in the wholesaler committing fraud because they are signing a purchase contract knowing that THEY THEMSELVES will never consummate the deal, the only way the deal will close will be IF a third party is found to purchase at either a higher price or to pay a fee to the wholesaler to assume the contract.  

In 2020 we did a cash out refinance on the first 2 properties we purchased and pulled out over $250k between those units ....we used the $250k to purchase a triplex in La Mesa Village in the first half of 2021 (we are currently adding an ADU to make it 4 units).

I also can't figure out how their fees work.

Yes, they are registered with NARPM and I filed a complaint with them along with a $100 check towards admin fee.

I would recommend getting a CPA when you feel like your taxes are to complicated for you to handle.Also factor in the time that you spend to do your taxes and the hourly rate it takes you to do it.Also be mindful that a part of the CPA fees that you pay may be tax-deductible
