It may cost few a hundred dollars for them to do the search but it's cheaper than going with a quiet-title first.

In that general area there is a whole fleet (dozens to a couple hundred) of derelict RVs that have appeared over the last 3-5 years or so and are being used as shelter.   

There is one group locally here in the Berwyn/Riverside area that owns hundreds of units and has a fairly substantial management operation at this point.

There are dozens if not hundreds of variables.And how would you differentiate the risk between a tenant that slips & falls down the stairs from a day laborer that slips and falls of the roof, with either taking action against the landlord / investor?
