Will there be an impact on long-term home value?

I work at Aslan Home Lending in Colorado and we are licensed in the majority of the United States.

I'd be happy to connect if you wish to know more. totally disagree. this isn't super fancy but from the data I can find (this is a 3 year home value chart from Redfin which is pretty accurate and the best data aggregator I've seen) and it shows that Cleveland actually isn't "steadily increasing".

I saw in one group someone touting that they believed 10% of all homes were being sold sub2 and I chuckled when I saw that.

I'm currently living in Crown Point Indiana and hope to invest in surrounding Northwest Indiana (Hobart, Merrillville, Portage, Lake Station) and maybe eventually the South West suburbs of Chicago.I'm mostly interested in flipping single family homes and purchasing smaller multi families. 

In the monthly home sales figures, I suspect its a tale of two markets. 

A lot of people rent their homes and somehow are able to make it work, by properly vetting and being lucky.

Ergo, all home buyers are liars?

An HOA's can restrict you if the home's neighborhood has one.

Condition of Properties: It's understandable to feel hesitant about purchasing older multi-family homes that need a lot of work.
