Procedure and cost for evicting squatters in Columbus, GA?
18 August 2021 | 0 replies
The realtor I'm working with says there most likely squatters in the house (junker cars in the yard, black plastic on the window on the bedroom side, one window is open = lack of power/lack of a/c).I'm still willing to buy to fix up and flip, for the right price, assuming I can either be assured of the property is vacant, or there is a low-cost, efficient eviction process in Columbus, GA.I appreciate any advice from people with experience on evicting squatters in GA.

As in any kind of outbuilding with water and power, a pool house that you can convert, bedrooms upstairs that you could add an exterior staircase to, a home with a big lot that would work for bringing a tiny home in.

How to find good contractors
27 August 2021 | 9 replies
Baby flippers think contractors are desperate for jobs and treat them like handymen (not that I think handymen are low value, they are also so important) and always say I am going to do so many jobs with you, can you just give me an estimate only to find out the baby flipper has a 10k reno budget and this is a 75k reno and then they think the contractor is trying to juice them because they only think cosmetic and don't understand plumbing, electric, foundation, etc.
