The assessed value and information on the assessment (should) have no bearing on the value of your property when you go to sell or refinance so you're not gaining anything by asking them to correct.

In other words,   the deposit and last months rent are optional (at least, the 5 installments after the initial move in)Mitigations:  charge full month for deposit and full month for last months rent if market will bear.
