What @John Thedford is telling you is the truth, so don't sell property don't advertise that you are selling the property, offer your position on the contract for a finders fee.if you don't like that, you could also place a property under contract with a weasel clause stating that you will close when you find financing, and just be upfront with the sellers letting them know what your doing and do a double close.p.s.

If they request information and you respond truthfully, that is loan fraud, which is a felony and pursued by FBI, not your local sheriff.

End result is that everyone gets evicted and the subleaser loses all their funds.You do need confirmation that the person you are considering renting from is able to do this.On the other hand there are MANY MANY scammers on places like craigslist who claim ownership of the property but, in truth, are not.
