The local HUD office has been non-responsive and the house does not appear on hudhomestore.com as active or inactive.Does anyone have an insight as to how I may find more information out (Case #, etc.) about this property and/or why HUD would be "sitting" on it 14-months later?

Based on my research online, it appears that the utility cost is relatively high for all electric appliances and do tenant favor this kind of rental property?

It makes it tempting to expand my circle, but there does not appear to be a shortage of rentals or properties for sale in the surrounding area.
