My next door neighbor in L.A. has two pitbulls whom I talk to from behind the fence and affectionately call 'the puppy sisters'.

I then dealt with trying to remove her guest peacefully and a mom and sister who fought over her belongings, meanwhile trying to contact the attorney handling her affairs. 

I travel around the world and live abroad for a portion of the year, so vacation or investment property outside the US interest me.

@Laura Koppel My sister is A Realtor and Manages property in Decatur which is just 20 minutes away.

People still travel to the beach in the winter, they can just be really really picky about where they stay because there are so many listings available.

@John Cassel @Dontelle Wilkens I’m in Charlotte as well, I’ll be traveling next week for work but would be great to stay in touch/meet up at some point (as well as others in Charlotte...I’m on my phone and can’t remember enough people to tag them).

This area draws a lot of foreigners too and the large bedroom count can accommodate multiple families traveling together for vacation.A friend of mine who is an agent in the area has a few clients buying in Davenport for the short-term rental options.

I can’t wait for the time that we could travel to Peru and Texas back and forth with no money or time restrictions.
