I just need a simple explanation and some examples of exit strategies so I can get an idea of what investors are talking about when they say "You GOOOTTA have your exit strategies."

Even caught red handed you would be way ahead and wouldn't have to go through all their non sense permitting process and very likely wouldn't be fined if you retroactively comply with their inquiries.

If updating the interior or exterior will allow you to increase rent and get paid back in "x" number of months, I would do it.On the other hand if you have good solid tenants I wouldn't mess with anything.Since your grandfather had these for 20 years some of the tenants may be due for a rate increase without any improvments

It is relativley simple, but it is a test for your resolve, as you have to first safe up some money.

Hello,Does anyone have first-hand experience with evicting previous owners or tenants from homes purchased through auctions?

I feel like I have my bases covered, but am wondering if I'm missing anything obvious or if you have any tried and true questions that help weed out the bad ones.Overall - can you help me get over the fear I'm having about handing my units to a company who (seemingly) will sweep in, re-lease to their paperwork (thus charging me 8 re-leasing fees), disrupt the tenant and their current habits (all of which are well-trained save for an older Section8 gentleman) and ask them to make changes? 

Some of the things I know I lack are construction knowledge, live hands on experience on a project, and proper financing techniques..Any advice on the right way to go about this or If anyone Is Interested In chattIng let me know!
