I successfully passed both of my tests on the first attempt and felt well-equipped with the knowledge they shared.

Long story short, I've paid him $51K three weeks in and still no contract.

In a perfect world, they may share it evenly (in this sample that would be 3% of the sales price, which is 50/50 of the $24,000)  but you'll see a lot of much smaller splits, even as low as 2%.
