In CA, most people use realtors/brokers for a sale, but in this context given the related party, you may be able to do it more privately with an attorney and escrow. 

I don't recall where you are--city/state, but a couple of people just had successful sales, and a couple of people did not.

There are many factors, but the main one is that many people from the Denver Metro area want a ski house and Winter Park is one of the closer ski areas.

I don't understand how a real estate agent would get access to "investor-worthy deals" when I would think the people they work with aren't in a distressed situation and are looking to sell for a profit. 

Keep in mind that just because 90% of the people on here use heavy debt, it does not mean you have to.

We are all human beings so being humble and trying to work with people often seems easier than creating conflict.

It seems like there are several big engagers I can think of off the top of my head, then there's a consistent middle of the pack (I recognize their names) - these are all quality posters Then there is a slew of people who ask one question, have a few posts and never engage again.

And as mentioned in one of the other posts, when it was done 20 years ago it did not end well for a lot of people.  

Depending on the area I know people have success on craigslist as well but can be hit or miss
