How do I find a mentor to guide my way into this new world I have only recently discovered?

I don't know if the last thing is a "thing" but it might be and you might be the one to discover the gold mine.If you are broke, set a budget and save some money.If you have some money, start looking for ways to reduce your expenses and/or increase your income (house hacking is a good first step)If you have a large amount of money, start cruising around BP and find something that peaks your interest.

Regardless, if there was a problem with the legality of the documents, this should have been discovered long before it settled and went to record.

Just found BiggerPockets and decided to try putting my house out there for all to see.As this is my first post, after I typed all about my great investment property, I discovered that I am not allowed to post it here.  

What I also discovered this morning is that the power has been in my name the whole time (which it was supposed to be until last Saturday when I met him to give him access to the house).

upon further research with the use of a realtor, we discovered that it's just the land, even though there were pictures of the inside - the sellers/builders were using photos from the model property...

The tenant will shop around at the end of the lease, and when he or she discovers that their rent is about to be $75 / mo higher than other similar properties, they will probably move.Our philosophy is to raise rents only when there is a good reason to do so: when market rents in the area have increased significantly.

Discovered there were no keys to allow prospective buyers to view the property!!! 

I may have discovered the reason why that property is still on the market.

The fact I recently discovered I can write in one day evictions, is a major bonus.
