The lockbox is useful for so many reasons that I just won't elaborate, and you can buy one at the big box stores for under $40 so not that big of an expense; you can order cheap lockboxes online for a lot less than that.

So it can be a great little side gig that you can manage from your desk.Cons:- Aside from the lower yields as of late, you can't liquidate the investments instantly to say the least. - And to Ian's point, these aren't collateral backed investments so there's of course more at risk.
