I am working on coming up with some sort of side hustle or some means to make more money, pay down debt, and start setting aside money for investing.My thought for the career change is hopefully a pay increase, but also a way to gain first hand knowledge while earning income and building my portfolio.My questions are this:1) Would making a career change to RE be advisable?

When evaluating a short term note for $5,000 to $10,000, the terms I use for my larger notes doesn’t seem enticing for an investor. 

Any resources on tax optimization strategies and determining what sort of entity to operate under would be appreciated!

One of the upstairs bedrooms had this sticker on the wall.In the basement and the garage it appears that they sprayed white paint of some sort on all the surfaces. 

Indy's larger population always makes it less up/down then some of the smaller areas, but it still has it's "edge" areas.

As well, what other expenses should be assumed with these sorts of rentals?  

You can live for free, build some equity, possibly establish renters for when you potentially move out to another larger property.

At some point though we will be required to make larger payments once her income is used because they use past taxes and she wasn’t working on those yet.We have two car loans.

This was a really good reminder that we need to put together some sort of operating agreement and some other policy paperwork as well but I'm not sure where the best place is to start or should we just get a lawyer?
