Maybe since the government has been focused on the "essential businesses", they should have also focused on the "essential financial responsibilities" of the tenants when they decided to send them stimulus checks, and much like the Section 8 Program, made sure that the first payment from that check went to the tenants rent payments...or is a place to live not considered to be "essential"?
