I know that the population is growing in pa but i can't seem to understand why if there hasn't been any significant job growth.

The great thing about appreciation is that it comes with rent growth.  2 bedrooms in downtown San Jose, was renting for $1,800 last year, is now renting for $2,400/month. 

In essence the day our framing crew would technically be starting, a 3/4 finished home is being craned onto the foundation, the time savings are immense.

Your gain may still be minimal from an appreciation perspective, but any returns you do realize are much larger (percentage wise) than that same or greater growth in the stock.

Employment growth is on par with national averageThe numbers are just not here in California at the moment so my main focus is on Cash Flow.

Both areas are very close to Destin but still offer room for growth and investment. 

We are also interested to buy in an area with growth potential.
