The codes concerning water connected to 220V that people climb into are pretty specific.If the tub burns up and/or the house burns down, their insurance and your insurance may not cover the damage if the tub was not properly wired.If you agree, in writing, to allow the tenant to repair or modify the tub and/or the wiring you are effectively putting your own head in the proverbial noose.I work on a lot of tubs at long-term and short-term vacation rentals.

If they've been smoking in it for years this might not work but I mixed a solution of vinegar and warm water and wiped down about every square inch of walls and windows in a rental where it smelled very bad of smoke.

how much would your payment drop if you went to a 20 year loan, and you should save a little on interest.Your not "saving" $230 a month if your extending your loan out 10 years.I'm with the others, those closing cost are way out of line unless this is a $400k house.
