I often look up property tax rates using the link at the bottom of ripropinfo.com and always look out for the little footnotes which let me know if that's the case.Also be aware that Woonsocket currently has a proposal in the works to do the same.For Providence, it got so bad after a few years of big non-OO tax rate increases that an organization of landlords formed, the Providence Apartment Association, to fight it, with some degree of success.

Roy, I'll pick up suggestions in your other thread.Shari, other than ID and the buyer's copy of a sale contract I usually don't take documents from a proposed borrower.That said, I have, I have been pretty good at sizing people up quickly, how they carry themselves, how they speak, can they convey an idea easily, level of comprehension on the matter, even body language is observed and written materials are important aspects to me.

So, when you market yourself to an investor, the conversation is not "I'm an amateur and need a mentor," but rather, "I'm someone that can add value to your portfolio and the deal I'm proposing is not a burden to you."

The proposed new law would prevent landlords and creditors from from taking action against feds and contractors during the shutdown and for 30 days after.According to several reliable sources in this thread -- based upon no facts other than the length of prior shutdowns -- this shutdown can't possibly last but a few more days!

This is not something that is typically advertised, you will have to propose it to the landlord and have them see the benefit in doing so.

There are situations where this is true but most of the time I am perplexed by this issue. if you are buying a rental property then the lender should be able to use proposed rental income when calculating your debt ratios.

Bills like the ones that have been being proposed during the last few years along with some of the laws that are also being proposed or passed in neighboring Oregon indicate that we will continue to lose power in determining our own business direction.I have properties in central WA and the Oly Peninsula.
