My old ride a 94 explorer police edition (which I paid 600 for at an auction) got T-boned in a parking lot during a snow storm in Feb and because the woman hit every panel on the drivers side they totaled it.

As for drug activity, we have found it very helpful to reach out to the Community Policing officer  during working hours and they will give you the appropriate steps and tips you can take when questionable activity occurs.
