Count doors, count windows, count tile space, count floor space, count roof tiles.

Same with roofing and siding suppliers.

This is how I paid for tile.

Tile- $3.00 per square foot (ceramic) Labor is 1.50-1.80 sqft not including tile or bonding material Carept- $2.00 per square foot $10-$15 a yard installed with a builders grade pad.Electric Panel Box- $1000Water Heater- $500HVAC- $3500 -Lawn Care- $500- $1000 Misc- $5000 - I just add 10% to my total for misc expenses.Those are just my ball park figures.

In addition to the baking soda suggestion, try washing all tile flooring (assuming you have any) with a vinegar solution.

Needed major updating as much as anyting everyone in those days thought tile counters were fine.. now everyone wants slab granite and stainless etc etc..
