I think I was supportive, but didn't get excited like he did. 

Double check with your CPA who ultimately will be supporting the position on a tax return.

With each acquisition, make sure you are adding to your reserves to support the property (like Andrew mentioned). 

Rental values in the country seems harder to find tenants and at prices that support the cost of properties3.

The strategy appealed to me because I could do it cheaply, and it was a method my wife supported because we got more room for our family.

But their cost was significantly more than I would pay at the mobile home store.Also, just in case this is something for consideration with your house – in the case of these windows that this store orders they have the nail fin and they are handy to have the vinyl siding fit into the J-channel?

We paid them an hourly rate and it took them way too long and cost us a few thousand, which was way more than it should have cost us but I was trying to be supportive and help some one out who needed some additional cash.
