Hello BPers,I am a newbie to investment and seeking your advice here.

I've been a real estate agent in Chicago for the past 4 years and have taken my time to learn and connect with like minded individuals seeking to grow and create financial wealth/freedom through real estate.

I'm seeking recommendations for a good CPA and tax planner/advisor in Iowa, specifically someone with experience in rental property ownership.

That can, of course, be good or bad, depending on if you are being enforced against, or watching the City keep your neighbors from being a pain in the neighborhood. 

I know team members don't necessarily have to be on my payroll, would it be appropriate to seek out professionals and 'pre-create' a relationship with them before launching into my first project? 

Those migrating from expensive cities such as New York, San Francisco, Seattle, etc will still probably desire all the amenities of a major city and seek to relocate to a smaller city that still has major sports teams, great food culture, transit options etc. 

There are lots of fellow military members who also invest in real estate on these forums and we all seek to provide value to eachother - so I think you will fit right in.
