I used my cash flow wisely and can now jump into multi family properties. this will allow me to retire completely and have enough equity to pursue another great deal when it comes along.To me it is all about the numbers and my time frame.

My plan when I retire is to keep $20k ($5k per property) in cash in my account.

Just wanting to get this started at a young age and maybe retire early (wouldn’t that be nice ) .

As an air traffic controller I have to retire at age 56, so I'm hoping to use REI to supplement my retirement income so I don't have to work past 56. 

My properties can pay themselves off in 10-12 years using only cash flow, and we plan to have them paid off roughly when we retire.

Sure enough a friend of the family is in the process of packing up their lives and moving to another part of the country to retire.

.- Risk averse- Want to semi -retire early and use obamacare efficiently and some non stress job income to sail from 55 to 65.

For those who don't know the French market, it's nothing like the US market and ROIs are much much lowers if any...I also recently aquired a set of 20 garages which offer a better ROI than apartments or houses and splits the risk of unpaid rent in exchange for more management... but I have a retired Dad :)In the past couple months, I have been in contact with a few companies and individuals specializing in investing in the US for foreigners, some looking more dodgy than others but overall seeming to be doing OK...

I personally wouldn't borrow against a retirement account but do see people do it all the time.

What's interesting is that every resupply mission or manned mission to the ISS, since the space shuttle was retired, has been via a Russian rocket.
