A few years ago, I really couldn't imagine what my life is like today, where the bulk of my time is spent as a handyman working on my renovations and keeping my rentals running smoothly.

While it may help track exactly how much of my reserves is attached to each property, I can imagine that when it comes to financing, it would be a nightmare--you'd be handing over mountains of statements anytime you wanted to purchase, refi, take out any kind of loan, etc.Cleveland is certainly growing, but I think most assets are overpriced, and it's flooded with investors.

Also you are really deep in the weeds on this and I'm not sure how you brought it up; but imagine for a second that she told you she wanted to open a restaurant and do it out of state, how would you feel on the first conversation?

I'm sure there are emotional pains that I can't imagine that they're going through.Regardless, they should most certainly not be intimidating their neighbors.

I imagine I would have lasted another year or two doing that, but I ended up moving in with my fiance before that happened, so I'll never know!
