I imagine that the folks at Stessa would be able to fix the bank feed issue and synch your historical transactions for the last 5 weeks. 

On the sell and pay the taxes now option suggested above ...The capital gains tax rate is pretty low historically speaking.

@Andy Gross I find DC quite interesting, as it was super overvalued at 2007 peak (54% vs historical price/income relationship), yet the subsequent price correction there was only 12%. 

For one thing, with historically high valuations, the timing is pretty bad to make new REIT investments, at least from my perspective.Beyond that, the concerns I share are one argument, and not applicable to everyone.

The neighborhoods on the east side of Dixie in this same area are very expensive ($1m-$15M homes) and are experience a boom of building due to large lot sizes and no historical restrictions on many homes. 

My husband & I live between 2 homes: a family farm outside Galesburg IL (45 mins south of the QC), and a historic home (c. 1841) in Burlington IA…right on the Mississippi River (5 mins away from my husband’s office). 

Her place is between the Historic downtown that's touristy and the new casino resort.  

From a historical perspective I think some very creative attempts will be tried and history says some will be successful.

Rents tend to follow prices, so you can use the appreciation rate if you don't have historical rental data.
