Question to the apartment owners, management companies, single family portfolio investors and the like.Would installing solar panels on your income producing assets make sense if there was no upfront installation cost and you could "bill" the customer for electricity that the sun produces for each property?

I recently talked to a tax preparer that claims I should keep the properties in my name then use the LLC as a management company.

to be honest, most people here is getting large downpayment after selling company stock or withdraw from 401k.

I didn’t have to pay it but the water company makes me keep the water bill in my name now. 

I'm in real estate and property management for local companies in the DMV, this is pretty unacceptable.
