Most of the time we are 1,800 miles away in Texas and when we are in CA we are over an hour away from him.

I don't think we will ever move as we are building a 5 plex on the property, but if we did, I'd put the electricity for the well/septic in the LLC and to make sure there is no interruption.  

Below are a few scenarios we are exploring based on owning our current residence free and clear.
