You keep a running count in your head of how much your drawer is over through the shift and at some point, remove and pocket that money when no one's looking and your drawer comes out even when they count it and no one's the wiser.

Managerial level on development/general contracting sometimes has its own frustrating days, I had the trouble of shifting from taking directions to driving the job and doing the books and compliance, though my case is different because we work with governments like school districts that a <100,000 project needs 300-500 pages just for closeout procedure.

By that I mean with SFR you need to shift the thought process from XXX(adding a deck, bathroom reno, extra SF) will increase the value by 110% of the cost...to the ARV of this home is $XXX and it needs $20K in rehab so my purchase needs to be $XXX. 

This helps it acclimate to the environment and prevents any rapid shifting and expanding after installation.

These constantly change, and therefore the likelihood of flooding in any given area shift over time in either direction.
