I have been buying and holding a couple cash cow duplexes for 5 years.Duplex #1 Purchase price 26k rent = $1,100Duplex #2 Purchase price 19k rent = $1,050These were my first 2 investments and they have allowed me to do fix and flips which I find I earn much more at a quicker pace.Michael

If you have say $1m+ that you want to keep out there earning a return, investing in $5k-$10k chunks would be looking at way too many deals for me.
