If you have worked in the same field even longer,  that would help as well. 

I hope to learn from the BP community and to leverage my experience and knowledge in the finance/development/construction field of real estate to provide meaningful insight and valuable answers to BP members. 

You could certainly do that, but all of that info is available from the search field.  

I'm happy because there is a ton of information on REI and although it's been a lot to take in all at once I want to continue to learn everything I can and read post from professionals in a field which I hope to insert myself.

He or she probably won't like the fact that you are about to change jobs into a different field.

I believe calling the numerous TK providers in your location can really provide some insight @Chad Hotovec you will start to see a common thread "hopefully" of the good areas from the bad areas(to acquire property) pulling from their market knowledge.

I kept it vague and hopefully through private chat because there seems to be numerous people and companies involved/interested in the property; and just by chance one of them is apart of the bigger pockets nation, I wanted to keep the specifics off the main forum.  

Even though I have not been active in real estate for many years, I have done what I can to keep up with the field and keep the skills I have developed honed by knowing what the local markets are like and I always keep an eye out for investment property.

My market will be going down as we rely heavily on the oil fields and coal for jobs. 

I want to make a lot of money through investing but I would like to have a solid job in the real estate career field as well.
