Partly because we have the time and energy to do it and wanted to really learn the business, be involved,  and immerse ourselves in the low income culture.  

I don't know what kind of heater this is but electric heat is expensive in our area and poorly functioning units can sometimes draw more energy, if the thermostat on a unit doesn't work or the heater doesn't sense temperature correctly you can have a situation where it is always on drawing electric. 

If they are genuine people and understand you have business to offer them, they will be willing to give you some of their time and energy to get their foot in the door.

All of this energy that we have needs to go into what is best for the situations that we can control, and the only thing we can really control is ourselves!

Spending forty hours a week for a salary is a colossal waste of your time and energy, to hear them say it.

Keller Williams is a great company and I ultimately went with them because of the positive energy and support they gave me from the first time I went in to speak with them, It was a completely different experience from the other brokerages I spoke with.

Brandon, I like your tenant communication angle, and maybe you could ask for their "help" first and focus on how it is in their interests (safety, energy efficiency, keeping costs (and rent) low)...

I did how every and still have loads of energy and passion to be my own boss ) .

I am not going to minimize what you do and say, "Oh, you're lucky, etc" because it takes a lot of time, energy and money to do what you do; especially in this EN FUEGO market. 

The only reason that I can think of why you came at me with that energy is your company must ask for “FEES” to be paid up front!
