Usually, it's just a matter of giving them the property address and legal description so they can look things up.Also, in many locales you can set an appointment with someone in the zoning office if you'd like to talk to them in more detail. 

 - the issue is not the poor return on this RE (the return has been great), but that if you had purchased something in same appreciation market, you would have done better

But this will alienate legal citizens living in severe poverty.....Tough situation...could've been easily avoided.

As mentioned, default interest and legal fees get insane and you will see the balance of the loan skyrocket.

Been almost 2 years and when I spoke to my attorney he said legal well over $100k on this.

Note this is not only to rent the JADU, but in strictest interpretation to even have a legal JADU.

The issue is due to the floorplan, I am having issues having an idea on how to reorganize the kitchen.Does anyone know or recommend an interior renovation design that could provide a design idea?

If you didn’t steal her equity the easy out for you might be to just refi before it becomes a legal issue.
