I just changed insurance providers for my triplex (three 2 bed 1 bath units, < 2700 sf total) in Stonington, CT because I've moved out of the property and needed to switch from a home owners policy to a residential dwelling policy.Long story short, Utica First came back with a rebuild value of $556,000.

I want to understand what additional studies/inspections/reports a regular dwelling permit would require.

I will fund the $30k to complete the rehab of both properties and the value will go from $130k to about $170k in value on each property, which I will partake in the instant equity.

I would guess a dwelling would be no more than a 3/4" pipe from the main to the house.

It’s designed to instantly reflect where you are at financially.keep in mind I’m not any sort of expert, but just know from my own experiences.  

@Colleen F. that's a slippery slope. when a property manager has 500 or 5000 units, there's no way to be in instant contact with a tenant.
