When they have a clean working fridge within the hour and none of their food is lost they are never asking me why I am so cheap to put in a used fridge.I also cut my own grass, for one because it saves a little money but it also gives me a great opportunity to gauge what is going on with each tenant and property on a weekly basis.

Just save.Don't make babies, don't finance any car purchases, don't get a dependa while still in, live in the barracks (or luxury suites or whatever they are called in the AF :P ), avoid the strippers, don't get a stupid life insurance policy, eat in the chow hall where the food is actually pretty good considering that you're still paying for it even if you don't eat there (I actually miss "Salisbury Steak" believe it or not...), minimal tats visible while wearing a t-shirt and shorts, KEEP READING!

Food for thought.

I'm 19 years old and my parents have been getting on my case lately, Pay us this a week, pay us that, step up to the plate, you use our washer , our dryer, and the oven, you eat our food and so on.

i wouldn't want my business to be associat3d with a cheap and cheesy marketing ploy.you don't see your local phone company using bandit signs nor do you see your local food chains use bandit signs.

Just some food for thought from a guy that has no experience with hurricanes!

As for savings even with a full time job making $12/hr and living in the cheapest 2 bdrm apt. i can find (I have a wife and son) i barely am able to afford bills and food/necessities.  

Look at the airline industry or fast food or cell phones for example.

If the deal is AMAZING- well below market rate/food equity OR great cash flow such as 2% rule or above, then a formal inspection is less of an issue because there’s enough margin to cover big expenses that might come up.
