My question for the group – do we need to let the property “season” for a certain period?

I currently work in customer service for a tech company but am considering a career change to being a home appraiser or home inspector.I am in Canada and have looked at the requirements, however I was wondering if there are any appraisers or inspectors in the group who can speak to the actual careers and day to day of the jobs.Do you enjoy the job?

Managing an STR is a lot of work, odd hours, and able to show hospitality to everyone while holding fast to boundaries and weeding out the party groups.

Since you're looking to syndicate, you can research the different investment groups and see which one you fit into the best. 

I found my first buyer in a fb group, but I believe because there were active contributors to conversations I vetted him as "real deal".

You can find them on Facebook and faceboook groups, meetups, networking events, foreclosure auctions, title companies, re attorneys, property management companies, tax records, list services that sell cash buyer lists, realtors.

It's a good place to be, I have a post somewhere where I listed out some of the smaller groups I'm aware of. 

The local real estate sales groups, local title companies, etc. may all be sources of a potential attorney in this area.Joffrey Long
