Water is collecting at the bottom of the driveway and flooding the garage, I've had a drainage company come out this morning and they are saying they would need to dig up the driveway, run a pipe to the top of the driveway so they can connect to the main road drainage total cost $8K + I would need a new driveway.They suggested possibly speaking with a landscaper or a driveway company for alternative optionsAnyone had a similar issue that can provide some insight or suggestions?

Good afternoon, AndrewThank you for your kind message.When we took over the house we had a tenant at the 1 bedroom(with extra bonus room in the attic)apt for which we decided to not increase the rent at least for the first year, that tenant pays $1150, my second tenant is an elderly couple with section 8 both tenants pay all utilities separately, we are only responsible for water and landscaping and common area lights.

With the two areas you mention, I would imagine Houston has a larger renter pool and the city is obviously much larger with a more diverse economy than Temple or Waco - not to say those areas couldn't make for good rentals.
