I am en route to my building now.

There are no amenities such as fishing, laundry, showers, rec areas, etc, just pads approx 30x60, an electric pedestal, and water, with crushed rock.I have an idea to put some RV pads on the land I bought and rent them out.

It's nice to see landlords willing to exert effort in military markets, but at the same time I wouldn't target that demographic for a few reasons:1) military families are more than used to moving, both during a PCS, or to another location because of price or amenities.

When working in the Netherlands some years ago, the "cottage" I rented was 1 1/2 story and had all the modern amenities.

Some properties, from an investors standpoint, are really meant to be a STR due to their tourist location, amenities etc.

Selling could net you less cash than you think.I would consider the location, amenities, and rental demand.

Tired/sparse decor will not cut it, even though technically you might have superior "amenities" than other listings. 

How amenable are MFH owners to this?
