I also believe it's important to offer the same tools to your renters that the other landlords in the area are, like ACH payments, an online portal, etc.

You can still send invoices and accept ACH payments with the Desktop.The biggest issue I had is that I transferred my online data (QB keeps this online and you have to jump through hoops to get it.

@Ethan Smith, If that LLC does not choose to be taxed as a partnership and does not file a tax return then the husband and wife (or rather their joint tax return) is the true tax payer for the property.
