I am doing very well with my commercial brokerage but investing the money while everyone else is taking vacations like crazy.

Only one of them has been rented out as a vacation rental and only to family and friends and friends of friends.  

I am getting ready to put my primary residence and a vacation property on the market. 

One person may wish to take multiple vacations a year to foreign destinations, while another person might be content with a trip to the beach in the summer and a ski trip in the winter -- one person might need a Ferrari and Porsche in the garage, while another person might be content with a Camry and a Ranger.

I am going on vacation this weekend, but will be back at it next week full force!

A lot of foreign investors like Chicago, for the following reasons:+ both cash flow and appreciation, lots of direct international flights, an affordable "world city"- the state of Illinois is in debt, taxes are high, building boom could dent cash flow + appreciationI can also recommend Salt Lake City:+ solid universities, great vacation rental market, great potential for growth, not as crazy as Denver,- weak cash flow, competitive RE market

Don't wait until your vacations and or retirement to enjoy.

The tenant has zero duty to vacate their lease arrangement.  

That gets you much more into a "short term housing" or vacation rental situation.
