You don’t know what you are going to find out below the surface of a remodel.  

But, during a typical remodel, getting electrical working first is a benefit to the other contractors.Likewise, things like paint, flooring and cabinets. 

Mobile homes -- for the most part -- are all about affordable housing, so make sure not to "over-remodel" a model home.

There's no incentive to remodel them, because you don't really own them.
