obviously the rents are premium priced for short stays/furnished places.I have heard success stories from those renting out middle/high end places to professionals, executives, etc who will be in an area for a month or two, and don't want a hotel lifestyle.Those types 'generally' cause a lot less trouble than most rental niches it seems.I'm quite interested in this as well, and am leaning towards it for my REI because I can then have some vacation homes for myself as well :)

I really didn't take his flame as picking a fight, just as an example of venting after having jumped into something he was not prepared for, where failure comes at quite a price.Shoulda-coulda-woulda come here first, had he known better!

You pay an hourly rate for them that is typically quite less than an employee they would provide to you (it should be that way as they did not use any overhead getting that employee) and they take care of the employee's payroll, insurance, compliance, etc.....
