How do you rate the food at a restaurant if you can't taste it?

Thank so much for your replies - really gave me food for thought. 

Imagine if he drops it, how difficult this tenant becomes going forward.There is one factor to consider here, from the tenants perspective....food for thought for future years. 

Yes i do, every time i come home, take off my shoes, put my slippers on and sing wont you be my neighbor..... the first time would be OK but being that this happened again then that would be enough to charge the tenant. i would also send a letter to them saying that cloths or anything else other than washing your hands and brushing of teeth are not allowed in bathroom sinks and the same goes for the Kitchen sink with the added exception of washing dishes, provided no food scraps  are dumped down the drain.

I just want to reiterate, I wouldn't mind the taxes if they didn't completely kill any opportunity for cash flow - based on my cost assumptions (5% vacancy, 10% capex, 5% repairs, $75 insurance, $100 utilities), I'm yet to find a property that looks like it would cash flow in that area.Point taken on the note about lower quality tenants - that is definitely food for thought.

One other thing to consider is that if you sell food made in your home, you need your home inspected to commercial kitchen standards.

I think Whole Foods and Chipotle are always strategically placed.

If fact, the opposite is drilled into people...from TV, radio, social media, advertisements, texts, emails, parents, huge houses, nice cars, smart phones, fast food, slow food, no planning, on the go, buy buy buy...we are inundated with consumption opportunities. 

Oh, and just know - Lafayette may not be LA, but we absolutely have some of the best food out there here in Cajun Country.
