I moved my business here two years ago from the warm west coast and have had quite an education in east coast winter property management (burst pipes, boiler blown, wind/snow damage).  

Some people may want to keep their dog in the basement during the winter to prevent it from becoming a Popsicle.Or some may want to let their kids play down there on rainy or snowy days.

We have extreme winters that maintain -30 degrees Celsius for months on end. 

These work great to validate or dispel tenant complaints for cooling and for heating in the winter.

We didn't have AC until October, didn't have heat for the first winter.

I am in the United States Navy and going on a year long deployment in the winter of 2022.

I would say we definitely don't have the most forgiving weather in the North East as the winters can be pretty cold and the summers pretty hot, but if that's not a problem for you then I welcome you to check it out!

The reason I am asking is I have a family member who’s been renting a house in Winter Park Florida that is affiliated with an HOA the past 6 months.
