For now I am perfectly content to rent half a room, cook meals at home, drive my ****** looking(but great running) '98 Toyota, buy my clothes at thrift stores, and save save save all I can. 

The property is located within 5 minutes of many shops and a major grocery store and walking distance from a University here.

@Giovanni LunaYou're asking about to completely separate things.A HUD home is just a home that HUD foreclosed on that had an FHA mortgage.You have to bid on them on them at their HUD store. you need an agent that has HUD privileges to do so.

The stores were always empty.

What happens is that a two-prong outlet wears out and cracks, and so the owner goes to the hardware store. 

I’ve been in this for about 3 months I’ve talked to people, done driving for dollars, posted flyers in stores, partnered up with 2 real estate agents have a facsbook business page and no deal yet, any recommendations ?

So from my understanding you are receiving rents in the checking account and storing deposits in the savings? 

I’m in Pitman 3-5x a week for their stores etc.

I agree that pharmacy is not necessarily on the upswing and especially working for pchain stores is not how it used to be.

There may be some good specialty shops near you as well that have things for better prices/better selection (lifting stores, tile stores, flooring stores, etc).
