Or, if you have the money to get the loan, then get a second mortgage to replenish your cash or give you more working capital, that might work, too.And of course, you should speak with actual lenders.

Very hard to have positive cash flow in CA on a sfr, unless you buy it with large down payments.As far as the repairs/maintenance factors mentioned by Ovetta, I disagree with the negative perception.

About a year ago we had a lead source in Mass and about 9/10 apps we took could not qualify for a mortgage due to negative equity mostly.
